How Much Does a Radio Ad Cost?

The price of a radio commercial breaks down into two separate parts: production and airtime. Production is the cost of writing, voicing, and mixing the finished spot, that is what we handle, with transparent flat rates starting at $199 for a 15-second spot, $249 for a 30-second spot, and $399 for a 60-second spot. Airtime is what a station or streaming platform charges to actually broadcast your ad, and it varies widely by market size, daypart, and how many times your spot runs.

What Affects the Price of Your Spot

Several factors move the final number. Length is the biggest one, a 60-second spot needs more copy, more voice work, and a longer music bed than a 15-second spot. The number of voices matters too: a single-narrator read is quicker to produce than a two-person dialogue or a full cast. Custom music and sound design add polish but also add time. And if you need multiple versions of the same ad, different offers, different city tags, or seasonal variations, each variation is quoted individually. Because every campaign is different, we quote larger or more complex jobs directly rather than forcing them into a fixed tier.

Volume Pricing for Agencies, Dealers & Casinos

Organizations that produce many spots at once, advertising agencies, automotive dealer groups, and casino marketing teams, qualify for volume pricing on multi-spot campaigns. If you are running dozens of dealer tags or a rolling schedule of promotional spots, request a custom quote and we will build a package around your monthly volume instead of charging per spot at the standard rate.

Why Radio Is Priced Differently

Terrestrial radio campaigns typically require higher spend and longer committed run times than streaming audio, because local stations sell airtime in blocks and reward sustained frequency. Our in-house media desk places your finished ad on local stations at reasonable rates, so you get one point of contact for both the creative and the buy. Streaming audio on platforms like Spotify and podcasts, by contrast, can start much smaller and scale up as you see results.
